The town of Tadcaster was devastated by the boxing day floods which left the town split in two. Faceless arts worked with the community to create a lantern parade to celebrate the reunification of the town when the bridge was rebuilt.
Hartlepool Heritage Trail
We are exploring Hartlepool’s Maritime Heritage and creating a heritage trail with Ward Jackson C of E Primary School
Thanks to SWYFT (South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) we worked with local vulnerable people through Spectrum People to improve their wellbeing through art and created beautiful works. These stunning pieces of art have been brought together to create a stunning new artwork to adorn the walls of the new clinical facility in Trinity Walk.
Retas Leeds Workshop
We worked with the Refugee Education Training Advice Service Leeds to bring a little creativity to their Christmas Party. They created their own nativity which reflected their own cultures and finished off making some stunning lanterns.
Frickley Mews Integration Project
An eight week art project for residents and members of staff of Frickely Mews which will involve the local community, working towards a group artwork or installation/exhibition of work, and an art/craft fair event day. The project began with Silk and Wire Sculpture Workshops on 22 November which will help tackle isolation and help with the integration of people within the home.
Lantern Parade - Giant snowmen with pupils from Spotland Primary School outside the Rochdale Exchang
We worked with the local community to create lanterns for a Lantern Parade that we managed, lead by the Faceless Snowman Family (Mum, Dad and Junior).
Getting in the Christmas Spirit
We worked with children in Altrincham to create large lantern sculptures which will light up the Stamford Quarter Lantern Parade.
Putting the Bee in Brighton
Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton were looking for original hoardings. We worked with local children to create great insect pictures made out of vinyl, which will adorn a living hoarding at the centre.
Balby Day of the Dead 2016
We worked with Balby Community Arts to manage the Day of The Dead Celebration in Balby, Doncaster on 29 October. 'Just wanted to say what a joy it was to work with you on Day of the Dead.
