Parades, Processions and Celebratory Events
Faceless Arts has over 25 years’ experience of delivering outstanding Outdoor Performance and Community Arts Events. The company delivers high quality, memorable, creative, cross art form parades, processions and celebration events with people of all ages, cultures and abilities. We have a thorough understanding of the need to work with communities, local interest groups and statutory service providers to create and deliver spectacular processions that are inspired by and relevant to local people.
Faceless has delivered a number of processions and celebrations for community organisations, local authorities and property management companies over the years.
The company delivered its first major procession for Oadby & Wigston Council in 1995, and since then has delivered a variety of parades and processions of all shapes and sizes. More recently, the company has delivered processions for Ossett Observer, Kirklees Council, Barnsley Mayor’s Parade, Chapel Allerton Festival, Middlesbrough Council and worked with Jones Lang LaSalle to deliver celebrations and parades in Manchester, West Yorkshire and London.
In delivering parade projects, the company often researches local stories and history with the communities with whom we are working and translates these ideas into themes for the procession using visual arts, movement and music, combining both tall and ground based images to maximise both impact and interaction.
We have designed a variety of different outreach models, and research each project carefully in order to maximise the benefit of the project for these communities.

Winter Lantern Parades

You can add a little light and sparkle to you events this winter with a lantern parade. Our lantern parades are great form of experiential marketing and community/visitor engagement in the lead up to Christmas. We can either work with visitors on the day to create bespoke cylindrical lanterns or work with target markets and communities in the lead up to the event to create stunning pyramid or star lanterns. Our team will facilitate the event by helping plan the route, distributing lanterns, directing the parade and thanking the participants. Participants will also be able to keep the lanterns as a memento of the day. The lantern parade can also be led by our jovial Snowmen family at an additional cost.
